Biohacking implants

Professional installation of Dangerous Things implants.

Skinlab installs injectable RFID and NFC chips, flex implants and select biomagnets. We do not currently install the Titan Magnet. Most injectable appointments take less than 30 minutes.

Appointments are required. Keep the implant sealed in its original package until your appointment.

Implant installation

You can order your implant directly from Dangerous Things, or contact Skinlab before ordering for help selecting the correct product. The implant itself is purchased separately.

Injectable implants

$120

Installation of x-series and other injectable chip implants.

Flex implants

$250

Installation of flex-style chip implants.

Procedures requiring stitches

$350

Installation when the selected implant procedure requires sutures.

What to expect

Preparation

The implant and placement are reviewed before the site is cleaned and marked.

Installation

Injectable implants are placed with the supplied insertion device. Flex procedures are more involved and may require closure strips or stitches.

Bandaging and aftercare

After bleeding is controlled, the site is bandaged and you will receive aftercare instructions. Skinlab does not provide injectable lidocaine.

Order the implant you want from Dangerous Things, keep it sealed in the original package and call Skinlab after it arrives to schedule your appointment. Skinlab can also help arrange an order.

Warranty and removal

Dangerous Things warranty terms vary by product. If a product fails, removal may be required so it can be returned and evaluated. Implant removal is charged separately.
